Discipline Policy

  1. The school requires strict discipline and good behaviour to be maintained by the students and their Parents/Guardians.

  2. Every student shall endeavour to keep up the good name of the school by his/her manners and discipline.

  3. Every student should bring his/her Student’s Almanac to school daily.

  4. Every student must be punctual.

  5. All students should return to their respective class rooms, after the morning assembly. As soon as they are in the class, students should set themselves for the silence period of 2 minutes and inestimable message conveyed by Principal to relax the mind before the start of day’s work.

  6. All students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days. A student who is not properly dressed may be sent home. – Use of jewellery/hair gel/makeup of any kind is strictly forbidden. – Side burns, fancy and irregular haircut are not allowed. Hats, caps, sweat bands and sunglasses are not to be worn inside the classrooms.

  7. Care must be taken to guard all school property and no pupil should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. Any such damage will have to be rectified by the student who does it.

  8. No books/CDs (other than text or library) and magazines are to be brought to school.

  9. A correspondence addressed to pupils is subject to scrutiny by the Principal.

  10. Running, Cycling, Driving, Shouting and Whistling etc. inside the school premises is not allowed.

  11. Students are forbidden to throw anything at anyone and chewing of gum is prohibited in the school premises.

  12. Parents and guardians are requested not to walk into class rooms to see teachers during teaching hours. They may kindly contact the Principal during fixed hours if they have any problem.

  13. Students should get their reports-cards signed by their parents or guardians during Parent-Teacher Meet.

  14. Name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.

  15. No pupil can leave the school premises during school hours or in the recess without the prior permission of the Principal.

  16. Students are expected to behave in a refined manner wherever they go. They should always keep in mind that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them inside or outside the school. They must wish visitors in school premises.

  17. If a student does not improve his/her conduct in spite of repeated warnings, his/her name will be struck off the school rolls.

  18. Parents are requested not to withdraw their wards from the classes for social function, it retards their progress in studies.

  19. Any special tendency noted in the child at home should be brought to the notice of the school authorities at the earliest.

  20. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not allowed to bring expensive articles like ornaments and mobile phones to school.

  21. Students who come to school in care of servants should not leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay they should report to the school office. Those who go home by themselves should not loiter about on the way. They should be prompt in returning straight to their homes. Students are warned not to buy eatables from street vendors.

  22. All students must converse in English in the school premises.
