Curriculum

KINDERGARTEN (NURSERY TO II)

Our school follows the vision and recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020 with a learner-centric, competency-based, and holistic approach to education. The curriculum is designed in alignment with the Foundational, Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary stages as prescribed in NEP 2020 and focuses on the overall development of learners through academic excellence, experiential learning, life skills, values, creativity, physical well-being, and social-emotional growth.

The school implements continuous and comprehensive assessment practices inspired by the Holistic Progress Card (HPC), ensuring that every child’s cognitive, emotional, physical, ethical, creative, and social development is nurtured and documented meaningfully.

The curriculum at the Foundational Stage emphasizes play-based, activity-oriented, and experiential learning to develop literacy, numeracy, communication, motor skills, creativity, curiosity, and socio-emotional well-being. Learning experiences are designed through storytelling, music, movement, art, games, and hands-on activities to ensure joyful and stress-free learning.

Assessment at this stage is observational and developmental in nature, focusing on participation, foundational competencies, behaviour, communication skills, habits, self-expression, and overall growth rather than rote memorization.
